What is included in TRS’s preventive maintenance programs?
This is site and customer dependent; however, we will initially complete a site audit on all your electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and alternators and determine the criticality/risk factor of the equipment.
Vibration analysis will then be performed on a 3 monthly cycle to assess for any bearing defects.
Static Motor Testing will be performed on a 9–12-month cycle to assess the electrical condition of the equipment and predict any failures before they happen allowing the next steps to be taken.
We also offer lubrication monitoring/management, online continuous vibration analysis and can include other services such as balancing and alignment.
Can TRS perform on-site maintenance at my facility?
Yes, our team of highly skilled staff can perform on-site maintenance and services at any location. Site requirements such as personnel inductions, etc., will need to be completed prior to work commencement, however.
How does regular maintenance extend the life of rotating machinery?
Whilst some types of equipment offered in the market are built to withstand all types of harsh environments and conditions, it won’t last if it isn’t looked after.
Checking the condition of your machinery on a regular basis will mitigate any premature/unplanned failures, which result in loss of production and profitability.
Optimal performance of the equipment is guaranteed if the correct checks and services are done as necessary. Think of it like servicing your car, you wouldn’t run it without checking the oil, etc., ensuring it is fit for purpose, so why run your machinery into the ground?
